The following is a photo of Dave Sharp, leader
of British rock group Dave Sharp & The Hard
Travellers:

Certain people on this newsgroup have claimed
Dave Sharp is gay, as if that matters; however,
the man in the photograph does not look particularly
gay to me, at least not visually.
Others claim Dave Sharp lives in Gaithersburg,
Maryland (USA), but it is my understanding he
is British. Perhaps there is a Gaithersburg in
the UK and people have simply gotten the two
towns/cities confused. Or who knows, perhaps
Dave Sharp has a home in Gaithersburg, Maryland,
USA, but maintains a residence in England as well.
Last but not least, several people have circulated
rumors that the Dave Sharp in the photograph
is me, Salvador Astucia, and are pressuring me to
reveal my true identity. Frankly, I feel no
obligation to confirm or deny whether the
man in the photograph is me or not. I will
admit I have played the guitar and sang
professionally in rock bancs, I have written
several songs, and I have done quite a bit of
recording. But whether the man in the photo is
me or not is no one's business.
The folks trying to guess my true identity
obviously have too much time on their hands,
IMHO. They need to relax, go off on holiday
somewhere and forget about their obsessions
with the Beatles and me and enjoy life.
That is all I have to say on the subject.
