SUBJECT: BEATLES FILE NUMBER: 157-6 IMAGE ABSTRACT: FBI teletype to Hoover. Surveillance status of Beatles' arrival at San Franisco International Airport on August 18, 1964. Crowd was approximately 5,000; generally orderedly, mostly teenagers and younger; many accompanied by mothers. A few minor incidents occurred where persons were arrested for disturbing the peace and similar minor violations.
