FBI Director Mueller supports Cheney’s threat to launch terrorist attack on Americans

By Salvador Astucia, May 20, 2002.

Two words: "capital punishment!" As a rule, I do not support the execution of human beings by the state, but in the case FBI Director Robert Mueller and Vice President Richard Cheney, we are two Homo sapiens short. The United States has been executing traitors and murderers for years. So let’s dispense with rhetoric. We need to find a sober judge, twelve honest jurors, a couple of cheap shyster lawyers, and commence with a trial geographically close to a tall tree with a long rope. It's the American way.

Mueller prophesied, today, that walk-in suicide bombers like those who have attacked public places in Israel will hit the United States eventually. ``I think we will see that in the future, I think it's inevitable,'' Mueller said in response to a question during a speech to the National Association of District Attorneys meeting in suburban Alexandria, Va.

The FBI Director’s statements dovetailed that of Vice President Cheney threats made on nationwide television yesterday.

"The prospects of a future attack against the United States are almost certain," Cheney said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "Not a matter of if, but when."

"It could happen tomorrow, it could happen next week, it could happen next year, but they will keep trying," Cheney said on "Fox News Sunday." "And we have to be prepared."

By the way, what happened to pipe bomber, Luke John Helder (who was arrested by Sheriff Dennis Balaam)? The Luke John-Balaam story has disppeared from the headlines along with US efforts to expand the opium war in Afghanistan to Pakistan. Mueller and Cheney et al. seem to be concocting a different story every day or so in an attempt to frighten the public. Hopefully this latest story will disappear like the others.

It is interesting that these sensational stories keep appearing amid credible articles which indicate that NORAD failed to protect airspace over New York City and Washington, DC on 911 and that the late President Lyndon Johnson—father of America’s blind support of Israel—was secretly Jewish, along with his wife, Claudia Alta Taylor Johnson (aka, Lady Bird). The latter point draws into question America’s entire foreign policy in the Middle East. It further explains why LBJ allowed Israel to murder 34 Americans when it attacked the USS Liberty in the midst of the Six Day War in June 1967. It is also interesting that Lady Bird reportedly suffered a mild stroke within the last two weeks rendering her unable to speak. One has to admit, she couldn’t have picked a better time to loose the use of her vocal chords. I wonder if her ability to nod Yes or No to basic questions was lost as well. This could prove most convenient if America attempts to break ties with Israel. There would likely be tribunals of guilty parties such as friends and relatives who helped LBJ conceal that he was an agent—a point man in the White House—for Israel. I can think of no greater act of treason, except of course sending 540 thousand eighteen-year-old draftees to Vietnam to fight an opium war, then abdicating leadership as Johnson did in 1968. Why on earth has Robert Caro written three books on this obvious coward?

(Note: Caro's latest biography on LBJ, Master of the Senate, is exceptionally bad. It has major omissions of Johnson's Senatorial role in matters related to Israel. The biggest example of Caro’s non-Israel account is Johnson’s leadership role in the Suez Crisis which Caro conveniently ignored, although he mentioned the Crisis itself.)

But back to terrorism, what is the basis for Mueller and Cheney’s latest revelations that America will soon be attacked? Unless they are terrorists themselves, how can they be so certain? Mueller and Cheney's hollow cries of terrorism remind me of bullies that I frequently encountered as a child while attending public elementary school. These bullies would say, "Cross this line and you’re gonna get it." I crossed the line. "If you knock this wooden block off my shoulder, you’re gonna be in big trouble." I usually flung the block across the street. After a few more dares, the young delinquents would usually flee in terror. The more beligerent trouble-makers occasionally required to be beaten within an inch of their lives—something I felt compelled and inspired to do on occasion regardless of the punishment I might have to endure at the hands of a sixty-two-year-old virgin school teacher.

But Mueller and Cheney are adults, not children, and they are attempting to inflict crimes against humanity. We are no longer dealing with belligerent school-yard bullies craving attention. The stakes are much higher. Although I oppose capital punishment, I have to admit that nothing would cure treason faster than a few well-deserved and long overdue public executions of criminals in high positions within the US government.  ª
