"National Grid for Learning"--UK education program funded by the "Department of Education and Skills"--uses unethical practices to promote and protect Israel on Internet educational resources. Forum moderator Andy Walker publicly states that governments have the right to imprison individuals for holding unpopular beliefs about the Holocaust, regardless of evidence presented. Another moderator, John Simkin, publicly labeled anyone who researched the Holocaust with an open mind as a "Holocaust Denier" and "racist."

Recently I registered as a member of an Internet discussion group calling itself "The Education Forum" which claims to be a "Forum for teachers and educators." It also claims to be "part of the National Grid for Learning." I have since learned that the National Grid for Learning is a UK education program funded by the "Department of Education and Skills."

The reason I registered with the Education Forum was to discuss the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in the Forum's discussion area called "Assassination of JFK." The JFK forum is moderated by two individuals: Andy Walker and John Simkin. The Forum has a policy that members must use their real names, but I asked Mr. Simkin if the Forum would mind if I registered under my pseudonym, Salvador Astucia. After reviewing my registration information, Mr. Simkin replied that using the stated pseudonym would be acceptable since I had already published two books under that name. Mr. Simkin then approved my registration with the Education Forum. It is important to understand that Mr. Simkin was fully aware that Salvador Astucia was a pseudonym--not my real name--prior to approving my registration.

Once registered, I began replying to existing discussion threads, plus I started several new discussion threads, some related to JFK's assassination, some related to other things; however, I never started any discussions about the Holocaust or Hitler. (Note: The Discussion Forum has multiple categories for posting messages related to JFK's assassination and conspiracies in general.) For example, on Jan. 30, 2005, I started a thread in an area called "JFK Books." The thread simply made readers aware of my online book about JFK's assassination. My book is entitled "Opium Lords:" Israel, the Golden Triangle and the Kennedy Assassination."

I also posted two articles in an area called "Political Conspiracies: A section for non-JFK conspiracies." The articles directed readers to the following articles:

The first article asserted that Mark David Chapman did not really shoot and kill John Lennon, that the true killer was the doorman who worked at the apartment complex where Lennon lived. The second article--"Critical Thought on Tsunami"--presented a theory that the Dec. 26th earthquake off the coast of Sumatra, and the ensuing tsunamis, may have been manmade disasters perpetrated by Israel. The Tsunami article stated repeatedly that it was a theory, not a hard fact, but it was based on several anomalies about the tragic event. I also presented a motive for why the Israelis might commit such a horrific crime at this time.

On Jan 31 2005, I received the following unpleasant email from Mr. Simkin.

I will remove any posting [that] is clearly anti-semetic (I have for example removed your posting which claims that Israel was responsible for the recent disaster in Asia). If this happens again I will remove you as a member.

In addition to the private email, Mr. Simkin posted a similar message on the Forum advising people that my Tsunami article had been removed and I had been warned not to post other anti-Semitic articles.

I publicly acknowledged to Mr. Simkin that the Tsunami article was obviously controversial, although not anti-Semitic, unless one considers it anti-Semitic to criticize Israel. Nevertheless, I generally agreed to tone things and avoid discussing Israel or Zionism unless it pertained directly to my book about JFK's assassination.

Shortly after Mr. Simkin's warning, I became the target of an entity that George Orwell once described as the "Thought Police" in his renowned book, "1984." Other Forum members began demanding that I reveal my true identity and I stop posting "racist" articles. Several members began goading me to reveal my true opinions about the Holocaust and Hitler. I publicly refused to discuss anything about the Holocaust and Hitler because those topics were too controversial. Since one of the moderators had gotten upset because I criticized Israel, I wasn't about to discuss the Holocaust or Hitler.

On Feb. 1 2005, a Forum member named Mr. Shanet Clark started a vitriolic thread entitled "Nazi Race Hate on Our Forum, petition to unregister." Mr. Clark was starting a petition to ban me from the Forum for a variety of reasons ranging from membership in the Nazi party (a false claim) to breaking Forum rules by using a pseudonym (something one of the moderators had already approved.)

On Feb. 2, 2005, I received the following email from Forum moderator, Andy Walker:

I am concerned that you have already made posts from 5 separate IP addresses in the last few days.

You are either frantically mobile or are sharing this account with other like "minded" souls.

Your posts have thus been put under moderator supervision and may experience some delay in appearing on the forum whilst I investigate this.

Since then, I have attempted to post numerous messages to the Forum, but only about three have made it to the message board. Surprisingly, my account is still active. Mr. Walker apparently wanted to create the illusion that I had left voluntarily, something that is completely untrue. Apparently Mr. Walker feels it is important to maintain an image of fair-play because his salary is being paid by British tax payers.

On Feb. 4, 2005, I received a lengthy private email from another Forum member named Gibson Vendettuoli. Mr. Vendettuoli claimed to possess embarrassing information (silly stuff related to my true identity) which he would reveal to the public unless I would "cease talking about any parts of the JFK theory that involve Zionism."

"Keep it up," I replied. The Forum's actions, I advised, "are generating more traffic to my website which result in more book sales. I'm crying myself to the bank."

Mr. Vendettuoli's biography page, on the Forum's website, indicates that he is about fifteen; however, in my opinion, the threat he made seemed very adult-like. Why would a fifteen-year-old boy try to blackmail someone in order to get that person to stop discussing Zionist involvement in JFK's assassination? This doesn't seem like the work of a juvenile delinquent.

If Mr. Vendettuoli is genuinely a fifteen-year-old boy, then he has picked up some bad habits from adults like Andy Walker, John Simkin and Shanet Clark. With adult role models like these individuals, I'll admit it's possible--and tragic--that Mr. Vendettuoli may in fact be a teenager as he claims.

The following is a synopsis of comments made by the moderators and other Forum members, plus my responses. (NOTE: Some comments below are slightly edited to summarize longer threads and merge comments from multiple threads; however, the context remains unchanged. SHONET CLARK: Click on the false alias "Salvador Astucia" (anywhere it is underlined). Go to his bio page and review his postings. Click into his commercial sales links of his book and review these links. Petition to unregister the anti-Semitic race hate spewing from this false alias and forum member.

JOHN SIMKIN: This issue has already been dealt with.

SHONET CLARK: Those who agree with my position, please post your support on this thread. The alias itself is a violation. LBJ's background can never be rationally presented by an alias who pretends to believe that Israel dropped nuclear weapons
near Thailand and triggered the tsunamis. His Kennedy theory centers on the Jews, and is simply inflammatory hatred. My standards for collegial inclusion and co-operation are much more rigorous than this.

GARY BUELL: I share your concerns. Looking at his website Salvador would appear to be a Holocaust Revisionist and probably a neo-Nazi as well.

ANDY WALKER: I am monitoring this closely. Our Board Guidelines are very clear.

Members, however, will not be removed on the grounds of what they might say in the future or for what they have said somewhere else.

SALVADOR ASTUCIA: [to Gary Buell] You and other people keep bringing up issues that I have not mentioned in this forum. In an American court of law, if an attorney for one side brings up a particular topic, then discussion on that topic is fair game for the opposing attorney. Why did you mention Holocaust Revisionism? Are you willing to discuss it? If this were a court of law, your comment would make the Holocaust a topic of open debate.

So I will put it to the moderators. Will you (moderators) grant me permission--in advance--to start a discussion thread about Holocaust Revisionism? The main topics of discussion would be as follows: Is the death count (six million Jews) accurate? Were gas chambers the primary means of killing inmates in Nazi camps?

Seriously, I do not expect the moderators to allow such a discussion, regardless of any evidence I might produce. But sometimes making a request is just as important as the response received. I only ask the question because Mr. Buell introduced the topic of the Holocaust as a means of discrediting me. But if given an opportunity to back up his comments with evidence, I have every confidence that he would suddenly fall mute.

GARY BUELL: So you do not believe that Hitler was an evil man?

SALVADOR ASTUCIA: I refuse to discuss anything about Adolf Hitler on this Forum without advance permission from the moderators. From what I have observed, several Forum members lack the maturity to engage in a serious historical discussion about the most hated man of the Twentieth Century. Why do you continually ask questions about Hitler and the Holocaust? Isn't this another form of entrapment?

ANDY WALKER: Members are free to discuss any issues pertaining to education they wish on this forum so long as they do so within the broad parameters of our Board Rules.

SALVADOR ASTUCIA: Thanks for the green light, Andy, but I looked at the Board Rules, and there's a phrase that bothers me. Here is the main sentence from the Board Rules which I think would apply to a discussion about Adolf Hitler and/or the Holocaust:

"You are responsible for what you post on this board. You will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law."

The last phrase is troubling: "or otherwise violative of any law." If we limit that phrase to American law, the verbiage isn't a problem because we Americans enjoy the First Amendment which protects our free speech. But other countries (Canada, Germany, France, even Australia) have special laws about hate speech which severely limit open discussions about the Holocaust and Hitler. Theoretically, the moment I give any opinion about gas chambers or challenge the death count, the moderators could kick me out of this forum and be completely in accordance with the Board Rules. Under the present Board Rules, they could do this even if I would supply verifiable evidence to support every statement I make. Therein lies the difference between truth and law. Laws are manmade. Truth is a divine force.

[NOTE: Andy Walker then blocked my postings after this, claiming he was monitoring them because I had been posting from multiple IP addresses. In a private email, I admitted using three different computers because I was at three different locations when I posted the messages. About three of my messages made to the board, but after a 24 hour delay or longer. -- Salvador Astucia]

ANDY WALKER: Just for the record, I placed Salvador under moderator supervision because over the last 4 days he has posted from 5 separate IPs. [Note: I (Salvador Astucia) admit posting from three computers, but not five.] I was concerned that the account was being shared. This has been done to us by a right wing group in the past. Either John or myself will moderate his postings when we have time. I work full time as a teacher in a school. Salvador is not really my priority at the moment.

MIKE TRIBE: What's your impression here, John? Has he gone? And I do understand your dilemma.

JOHN SIMKIN: He has not gone, but he cannot post without our permission. Therefore, he cannot make racist comments. That is I hope what members wanted.

SALVADOR ASTUCIA: I never made racist comments, Johnny. In fact I refused to discuss the Holocaust completely, which is the real reason I've been put on 24-hour monitor. You guys are just upset because I wouldn't give you a pretext to ban me completely. Please stop referring to my comments about President Kennedy's assassination as racist, just because I concluded that Israel was the true sponsor.

Closing Remarks:

Forum Moderator Andy Walker's final comment was a major concession, whether he realized it or not. He basically admitted he was trying to entrap me (Salvador Astucia) into debating the Holocaust on the Education Forum, knowing fully that doing so would be grounds for banishment. Earlier, when Gary Buell asked for my opinion about Adolf Hitler, I refused to answer the question because I felt the question was a form of entrapment. I asked the moderators for permission to answer the question by first granting permission to discuss the Holocaust in a critical manner. I specifically asked if we were free to discuss gas chambers and the death count. To that, Mr. Walker replied:

"Members are free to discuss any issues pertaining to education they wish on this forum so long as they do so within the broad parameters of our Board Rules."

I reviewed the Board Rules, but still refused to discuss Hitler or the Holocaust because the Board Rules stated that members were not allowed to make statements that were "violative of any law." I pointed out that critical discussions about the Holocaust were illegal in some countries, and I was therefore not protected by the Forum's Board Rules to speak openly on the subject.

Mr. Walker later acknowledged--in a backhanded manner, on another thread--that he would have banned me from the Forum had I questioned or challenged anything about the Holocaust. Again, this is what Mr. Walker wrote:

"Holocaust denial quite rightly is a criminal offence in many countries and would of course break our Forum Guidelines."

Both moderators made it clear through their repeated comments about the Holocaust (many are not shown in this article) that anyone who questions historical points about the Holocaust is a Holocaust Denier and a racist, regardless of evidence presented.

Recommendation:

To the citizens of the United Kingdom, I urge you to contact your government representatives and complain about the "National Grid for Learning" because it aggressively promotes pro-Zionist propaganda under the guise of education. The Education Forum described in this article is part of the National Grid for Learning, a UK education program funded by the "Department of Education and Skills." The incident described in this article demonstrates how huge problems can easily occur when too much central authority is given to those who set standards for education. The National Grid for Learning is teaching the children and college students of England that it is acceptable to imprison people for merely holding thoughts and opinions that are unpopular. The National Grid for Learning is apparently code for propaganda pushed by George Orwell's Thought Police.
