I read the website synopsis of Salvador Estancia's "The Opium Lords:
Israel, the Golden Triangle, and the Kennedy Assassination." at

This book DEFINITELY is an eye-opener and head-turner; It makes a
HELLUVA lot more sense and is more thorough and well-documented and
rational and consistent than any other explanation I've heard yet, as
well as explaining the sinister change in American Government which
can be traced from Kennedy's assassination, with the possible
exception of a 'human-face' and real compassion and honour seen during
Carter's administration; This explanation provides a context to better
understand the events of 9/11, why the US has given Israel almost 79
billion dollars since 1948, how the 'War on Terrorism' is a clever
ruse to legitimize wide-sweeping extrajudicial and extralegislative
executive and emergency authority as well as diverting more and more
public funds to the defense industry, and why the US is functioning
less like a democracy and more like a plutocracy managed to
consolidate the agenda of a coalition of powerful special interests;
This may well become a classic bombshell which the entrenched
right-wing will likely spare nothing in an attempt to ridicule and
discredit; Given the ridiculous posturings and hysterical extremes of
fantasy and invention which the republocrats have resorted to, it will
be VERY interesting to see them attempting to pooh-pooh this latest
work which blows the lid on conspiracy and collusion that has such
dramatically extenuating consequences for the success of the American
experiment;
I suppose those who are highly motivated to 'believe' the ridiculous
Magic Bullet theory concluded by the white-washing Warren Commission
will HATE this book for putting so many pieces together and following
implications where they lead, but for many others who have long
suspected the Kennedy assassination marked a crucial shift in
geopolitical strategy, this book will provide an essential
understanding of just how serious the almost-forty-year state of
ongoing emergency is, and how thoroughly the disease of moral decay
has saturated American politics;
The circumstantial case for an ultra-secret coup that hijacked this
country's leadership is most compelling, providing an essential and
rationally-balanced perspective to place the past 40 years of world
and US history in perspective;
Every attempt by the status-quo ruling-class special-interest
coalition to avoid accountability and defer responsibility has
precipitated the creation of greater and greater crisis to distract
attention of the polity, and which in turn requires more and more
'management' to prevent total collapse of the delicate house-of-cards;
As anyone who has a sincere desire to see the truth of things is
aware, the 'War on Terrorism' is simply the latest tactical
cause-celebre strategy to empower the extant plutocrats with
carte-blanche authority to do whatever is necessary to preserve their
avenues of power and wealth, in collusion and corrupt alliances with
popular media institutions to control and manage public opinion;
I don't know 'how' this ongoing fight for truth and justice and
accountabilty will play out; Certainly the popularity of the internet
as an incredible information/communication resource has made the One
World Government task of the plutocrats a bit more problematic, but
considering how deeply entrenched the barbarians are who have seized
the reigns of power and influence, and how cleverly they have wrapped
themselves in the cloak of legitimacy and 'honour', AND how thoroughly
their lies and deceptions have been embraced by broad and popular (and
highly-visible) segments of the public (and recognizing that, to a
considerable extent, the ruling-elite political front-establishment
has arranged things to KEEP control by emergency-power authority if
necessary) the struggle to rescue Democracy does NOT look all that
promising, that is, there aren't a whole lot of indications that
things will change for the better soon; If anything, it seems things
might very well get much, much worse, with greater and more
destructive wars, greater loss of individual initiative and freedoms,
more and more abuse of authority and coercive practices, more
restictions and controls of information, greater instability and acts
of terror, more assaults against the principles of peace and justice,
and so on; And yet, we must recognize, that Knowledge and
Understanding and Truth are keys to self-empowerment, and is essential
to positive change; IMO, until there is a day of recknoning, and the
US faces and acknowledges the dirty, barbarous acts committed in the
name of 'Freedom' and 'National Security', the national trend will NOT
be toward the light or increasing peace and justice around the world;
People of conscience and principle are involved in the struggle to
liberate the creative, loving and positive human spirit from the
chains of tyranny and oppression that are threatening to enslave us,
while 'saving' us from manufactured demons; My prayer is that we are
all emboldened to 'see' with clear eyes and act with determined
purpose, to resist the evil that increasingly is arrayed within our
midst;

Salvador Astucia has gone back to the drawing board and come up with a
real tour de force on the Kennedy assassination. It is called,
intriguingly, "Opium Lords: Israel, the Golden Triangle, and the
Kennedy Assassination," and in many ways it actually makes Peter Dale
Scott's "Deep Politics and the Death of JFK" seem shallow. You can

Cutting through all the back and forth over trivia, it should be
apparent to anyone with half a brain that the people who pulled off
the Kennedy coup are the people who have been running the show ever
since. Or, we may look at it another way and say that if we can
figure out who's running the show behind the scenes now, foisting upon
us as our two most recent presidents, a moral cripple from the wrong
side of the tracks in a backward little state and then the dim-witted
first-born of a former president and CIA director, then
we will know who was Mr. Big in the Kennedy assassination.
I've read a shelf or two of books on the Kennedy assassination and, as
anyone who has spent any time at my web site knows, I'm not exactly a
piker on what's going on currently, and I must say that Astucia seems
to me to have put more of the parts of the puzzle together than anyone
else.
He may not yet have all the answers, but as I used to tell my students
when I was teaching in college, the best we can ever hope to do when
examining the complicated world of human interaction is to improve the
quality of our ignorance. I think there's more improvement to be had
in "Opium Lords" than in an entire political science major in most
American colleges.
Here is Astucia's synopsis. His documentation for these assertions is
quite impressive, except maybe for the assertion that Nahum Goldman
was Mr. Big in the operation. That conclusion is arrived at through
deductive reasoning and conjecture. Astucia's thesis resembles that
of Michael Collins Piper in "Final Judgment," except that Astucia
absolves Israeli Premier David Ben Gurion of any responsibility and he
adds the dimension of the U.S. military and their involvement in the
worldwide illegal drug business. Maybe there's
a clue here to the mystery of the untimely demise of Admiral Mike
Boorda. For certain there is a connection to the "suicide" of Marine
Colonel James Sabow.

In the synopsis Astucia misses one additional explanation for the
"Silent Coup" against Nixon. The recently-released tape of Nixon's
conversation with Billy Graham reveals that, in spite of his generous
contribution of our tax money to them, Nixon could not be counted upon
to be as completely subservient to Israel as most of our recent
presidents have been, or as Lyndon Johnson certainly was.
Astucia's conjecture that Johnson was secretly Jewish is certainly
intriguing. There is certainly ample precedent for such things.

mark at the end of the title. I have now made up for that failure.
-- Opium was the glue that held together the rivaling factions that
conspired to kill JFK.

World Jewish Congress and its president in 1963.

d'état. He was an influential international lawyer with an extensive

-- Martin Agronsky and other Jewish journalists and media moguls
collaborated in the plot by pushing a false cover story that Lee
Harvey Oswald alone killed JFK.
-- Right-wing extremists joined the coup initially but broke ranks
and declared a holy war against Jews immediately after JFK was killed.
-- The assassins were the lieutenants of French-Corsican heroin
trafficker and convicted Nazi collaborator, Auguste Joseph Ricord. He
was living in Argentina at the time of the assassination. Later he
moved to Paraguay which became a major hub for smuggling heroin into
the United States.
-- The assassins were Lucien Sarti, François Chiappe, and Jean-Paul
Angeletti-all French-Corsicans.
-- Nixon was driven from office because he destroyed Ricord's heroin
cartel, established détente with the Soviet Union, withdrew forces

-- Under Nixon's orders, police in Mexico City tried to arrest Lucien
Sarti-the man who fatally shot JFK in the head. When Sarti fled,
Mexican police opened fire. He died in a hail of bullets on April 27,

-- JFK made enemies within the military establishment and Israel when
he attempted to establish détente with the Soviet Union in the summer
of 1963. He also wanted to prevent Israel from acquiring the Bomb.
-- JFK was viewed as a threat to Israel because of pro-Hitler
statements he wrote in his 1945 diary (later published) and two books:

-- President Johnson aggressively supported Israel because he and his
wife were secretly Jewish.
-- Texas-a former Spanish colony-became a haven for Sephardic Jews
expelled from Spain in 1492. Jewish migration continued from other
